A new game for idle minds. RULES: 1. I'll give you 3 seemingly unrelated clues. 2. You'll have to think laterally and connect these clues to a person, animal, bird or thing. 3. You can post your solution in the comments section. 4. The one who cracks the puzzle first gets one brownie point from me. 5. I will put out a thousand puzzles in the next one year. The person with the most number of brownie points will be crowned as the champ.

SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE
damn it, someone beat me to it before i could type in google
whats the 212 for anyway
i'll still say the answer is tom hanks
Al Pacino
Sleepless in seattle, tom hanks, meg ryan... o there is no way you'll ever have a champ, unless you at least let us know if it's a person, thing, or place....
So here's a sincere appeal from puzzle addicts like me for one more clue... otherwise, i'll never get any work done, and will spend more than half a day on driving myself up the wall...
I don't have the answer, but let me muddy up the waters further...
212 is New York code?
Insomnia as sleepless is too literal. So, that's perhaps the red-herring Anantha wants us to swallow...
Citibank
212 - Area code of NYC
Insomnia - Citi Never Sleeps
Umbrella - the Travellers umbrella that has recently been sold by Citigrouop
Ans. CITIGROUP
212: Area code for New York City - also know as the 'city that never sleeps'
Citigroup tagline: Citi Never Sleeps
Also, Citigroup is HQd in NYC.
Insomniac: One who Never Sleeps which again ties in with the Citigroup tagline.
Umbrella: Thats the Citigroup logo.
Sumo gets it, I think! Damn!
Sumo gets the brownie
SOLUTION
212 = Area code of New York City = Citibank was founded in 1812 as the City Bank of New York.
Insomnia = Never Sleeps = An allusion to the slogan 'Citi never sleeps'.
Umbrella = The red umbrella, the current logo of Citi which will soon return to Travellers.
Trylateral = Citibank
